She stood in front of the mirror admiring herself.
Her long blonde hair shimmering in the sunlight that came from the window nearby.
She smiled at herself as she looked at her reflection.
Her hands danced through her golden locks.
"I'm not vain", she whispered, "I'm just that beautiful".

  1. Great story. Wouldn't it be something to think that way! Might drive others crazy but would sure make looking in the mirror a joy. Thanks for sharing with In Other Words.

    1. I had an old friend in high school that spent most of her time looking at herself and making sure her hair was just right, her makeup flawless, and her clothes on point. It drove me crazy. I thought it was exhausting to watch her day after day for YEARS be so in to herself... vanity is truly obnoxious sometimes. Thanks for reading mine. Have a great weekend.

  2. I've known a few like that. In truth, they are very boring people.

  3. When someone thinks that highly of themselves, usually they are the one one who does. Well done capturing the prompt.
